October

October was filled with projects. Originally I was just going to plan Emma's birthday. But then we unexpectedly purchased a sectional and then my Dad built us a table and then we painted and replaced baseboards. So it was a busy month and it all had to be done in time for Emma's party.

oatmeal and learning to feed herself

nightime snuggling with brother

daytime snacking with other brother

"You come"
Em also learned to walk just before her birthday

It was finally time to get rid of this one
We had for close to 10 years after Nath's parents had used it for 20ish years

covering the last bit of red paint
it's been there for close to 8 years and I've wanted to repaint for about 4 years
this project would not have happened without my mom and sister helping me out

It's tricky painting with a 12 month old

September

September had a lot of big firsts. N started Kindergarten and L started a PreSchool Program. N was really excited to go to school and I was excited for him, but very apprehensive about letting go of my baby. But atleast I didn't blubber like a baby. I held it together and he did awesome. And he's excited to go to school every morning. His teacher seems really great and he's making friends in the class and it's french immersion and he's a little sponge. I can't believe how much french he brings home.

He had an awesome time, and Rach and Eric were great hosts. The kids and I did pretty well on our own, but we were all very excited to pick Daddy up from the airport!
