Trip to Washington, DC


Leaving the hotel room in Fargo
2 suitcases, 2 backpacks, and 1 stroller
not bad for a family of 5

First day in Washington we went skating at the Capitals practice rink

The first Smithsonian Museum we headed to was the Museum of Natural History


lots of animals to see

look at these monkeys


walked through butterfly room where 300 live butterflies flew around
had to watch where you walked




The boys went to 3 NHL games with Daddy and Auntie R




They even got to meet Alex Ovechkin

We enjoyed being able to spend time outside in their backyard, that is until it snowed!

Our Second Smithsonian was the Museum of Air and Space

We were lucky enough to stay at the Fehr Inn
they had cozy accomadations that came with an Uncle to wrestle with

and storytime with Auntie

The final Smithsonian was the Museum of American History which I did not get too many pictures of except for Julia Childs Kitchen. This is what I came to see.
