Thunder Rapids

We've been really enjoying the summer, and I can't believe we're almost halfway through July already. The boys have been spending as much time outside as possible, and they have the mosquito bites, scrapes and bruises to show for it. They've been playing hard.

Our garden is doing so well, we've been picking a few strawberries every day, and the peas are going to be ready in another week or so. I made my first pot of summa borsht ever this week with the sorrel from the garden, which turned out pretty well, and a rhubarb cake from the last of the rhubarb. It really makes me wish that the garden was bigger. It is very satifying being able to pick food from your back yard that you planted.

We were thrilled to receive news of a new little friend for our baby being born. Little Anninka made her appearance on June 30th, and she is such a doll.

Note how she is decked out for Canada Day!

We went to McD's for ice cream one evening. This is the after ice cream picture with sticky chocolate faces.

We went to Thunder Rapids with my extended family this past weekend. Fun was had by all.
Here are the boys with their cousin playing mini golf.

Here's a little video of Noah driving the little go cart. We laughed so hard. He was so cute waving at the crowd, and his competitor, Jack.
