Bunk Beds and Hot Dogs

We bought some bunk beds this week. And after reading Corinna's story of poor customer service at Walmart, we unexpectedly had the best service we've ever had there. We have been keeping our eyes open for quite awhile for bunk beds, and when I saw these in the Walmart flyer for $179, I called ahead to make sure they really had them. Then we borrowed our brother in law's truck and headed down to the store. We found them right away, and had a young male employee come in our direction just as we needed him. He helped us get them to the front and into the truck. I think we were only in the store for about 20 minutes. I was really impressed.

The boys had to wait til the next evening before we started to put them together, it was a long 24 hours for them.

Nath and I (mostly Nath) put them together in record time, it was less than 2 hours start to finish. And without any arguments!

They were so excited, it took quite awhile to get to sleep that night.

We had our first weiner roast in the back yard on Thursday. It was such a wonderfully warm day. So we made a fire and roasted some weiners for supper. Then went for a walk around the pond out behind our yard. It's nice to finally have warm weather.
